Wilson Communications Proud to Participate in 8th Annual Kiwanis Home and Garden Show, Supporting Area Youth & Children
Wilson Communications showcased their latest products and services at the 8th Annual Kiwanis Home and Garden Show. The event was Saturday, March 23rd, at the Ellsworth County Medical Center Administration Building.
Anita Hoffhines of Millwood Realty comments, "The Home Show was a great success and all the volunteers and attendees liked the combination of the Health Fair, the ECMC Auxiliary Sale, and the Kiwanis Home & Garden Show together. The show and raffles enabled the Ellsworth Kiwanis Club to donate over $7,000 to the splash pad that is being built in Preisker Park in Ellsworth."
This was the first year that all three events were held entirely at the ECMC Administration Building, which created a lot of excitement as guests were able to experience everything under one roof. A special thanks is extended to the Ellsworth County Healthcare Foundation for the generous use of their building. Also, the Ellsworth County Independent Reporter's Spring Home Owner Magazine did a terrific job featuring the show in conjunction with vendors and participants. As always, there was delectable food prepared by local members of the American Legion Auxiliary and Ellsworth County Medical Center Axillary. These outstanding volunteers also helped show participants get set up with their booth displays and ensured that the public had everything needed to have a great experience.
We were excited to present this year's raffle prize to Bob Steele of Ellsworth. He won a WITTI NOTTI Smart Light which provides alerts and notifications for both iPhone and Android smartphones. Stop by our office if you are looking for wireless or Bluetooth devices, as gifts or for your home.
Brian Boisvert, CEO/General Manager at Wilson Communications comments, "Each Spring we are excited to be part of this community event. Eric Heath, our Business Sales Associate, was on hand to share the latest in communications technology with show attendees. All of the local businesses present at the show provided a superb combination of goods and services available in our area."
The local Kiwanis Club has approximately 50 active members and is part of Kiwanis International.
