What to Know About the Affordable Connectivity Program
Federal Communications Commission and the Kansas Corporation Commission have established programs to help low-income families and individuals have access to telephone and broadband services at reduced rates. To learn more or to see if you may qualify or if you need to recertify visit kcc.ks.gov/telecommunications/lifeline. The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP)could reduce a consumer's Internet bill by up to $30/month, while the program is in effect. Upon conclusion of the program, regular rates, terms, and conditions apply. This program is not transferable and limited to one service discount per household. A consumer MAY receive the Lifeline Benefit in addition to the ACP Benefit. All service offerings are eligible for this program. A lifeline credit is also available of $9.25/mo for qualifying households. To learn more or to apply online with USAC visit affordableconnectivity.gov. |
